感謝香港人。
在立法會四年多，有很多事情我本希望做得更好，也有一些未達成的目標想完滿。多謝你們的包容，也衷心感謝各位對公民黨的支持。
感謝家人、同事在這困難時期中的扶持，未來的日子只會更不容易而漫長，但我們不要失去盼望，香港人只要本著香港精神、各自在自己的崗位上努力，香港定必重拾光輝。
我為曾經出任過香港人的民選議員而感到無上光榮，或許將來未必再有此機會，但我深信香港還有一批又一批優秀、有勇氣的年輕人願意為香港盡心盡力。
我愛香港，這顆心將不會因為環境艱難而有絲毫改變。

Thank you the people of Hong Kong.
Having served at the Legislative Council for more than four years, there were many things I wish I did better and goals I regret have not come to fruition. I remain grateful for you hanging on with me along this journey, and I honestly thank you for your support for the Civic Party.
I owe a huge favour from my family and colleagues for their solidarity in such difficult times. Days and years ahead seem even more endlessly trying, but we should not lose hope. As the people of Hong Kong carry on with the spirit of Hong Kong, and do our best in each of our roles, glory will once again dawn on our city.
It is a great honour having served as a democratically elected legislator representing the people of Hong Kong. It looks like in the future I will unlikely be given the same opportunity. That being said, I have faith that a new cohort of talented and courageous youth will take up the noble duty to help build our city for better.
I love Hong Kong, this is a firm conviction that I promise will not yield to any new challenges now and ahead.
